My fall semester of my junior year of college was spent in Shanghai, where I made many new friends, learned more about Chinese culture, worked at a think tank, and ate lots of good food. It reminds me that as we grow and change some aspects stick with you and others are shed. I started taking Chinese language and culture classes right around the time I started this blog, and even though the blog may not have kept up, the language did.
